We are looking to hire an experienced Jet Truck Driver to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Perform storm sewer, drain and catch basin cleaning that removes solids, semi-solids, and liquids routinely from lengths and depths of over 100 feet.
Perform skilled work inspecting sanitary sewer mains, laterals, and manholes.
Accurately document inspection information.
Clean Wet Well/Lift Station to mitigate plugging and damage to pump impellers.
Perform hydro excavating to allow for a non-destructive and accurate way to excavate soil and avoid damage to underground pipes, lines, and cables.
Perform smoke testing to determine the source of excess inflow.
Confined space entry.
Deep lift vacuuming.
Ensure equipment is stored in a safe and proper manner.
Maintain a supply of replacement parts and supplies required to conduct inspections.
Identify and assign applicable ratings of defects consistent with NASSCO’s established methodology.
Use appropriate safety gear while performing work such as ventilating fans, wench, harness and gas monitor.
Coordinate work with other departments, divisions, sections, utilities, and customers.
Reviews construction drawings, blueprints, and utility plans.
Maintain records and generate reports documenting inspections performed and assessments of the condition of the facilities inspected.
Schedule, set up, maintain, and remove appropriate traffic control where required by the project.
Ensure compliance with all inspection requirements.
Certify the acceptability of each sewer/ storm job installation/ repair upon its completion.
Verify location of mapped utilities and assist in revising utility maps.
May coordinate location points using a Global Positioning System (GPS).
Use handheld devices to manage, document and report on daily work product.
Works closely with Utility Crew Foremen to coordinate work.
Assist with training for personnel hired for similar work.
Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew.
Properly use all personal safety equipment.
Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure the job site each day.
Perform miscellaneous related duties and carry out special projects as assigned.
Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Previous experience in the installation, visual assessment, inspection, rehabilitation, and maintenance of underground infrastructure, including sewer pipes, storm drains and other aspects of storm and wastewater systems.
Must be reliable and able to work within a team environment, as well as lead a team.
Excellent reading skills. Strong computer skills required. Software knowledge including excel spreadsheets.
Ability to understand construction warning signs. Adhere to all safety regulations.
Able to work in an environment with extreme weather fluctuations.
Have a record of safe vehicle operation (MVR). A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license is required at time of hire and for the duration of employment.
Must possess strong communication skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and mechanical aptitude.
Successful completion of pre-employment, post- offer screenings, including drug test.
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Office Roles:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Climate-controlled office environment with varying temperatures
Occasional travel to jobsites with exposure to fluctuating weather conditions
Shop & Field Roles:
Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, ranging from freezing temperatures to heat above 90°F, in both wet and dry conditions
Work may be performed in confined spaces
Exposure to odors, gases, dust, and dirt
Noise levels ranging from moderate to loud
Frequent lifting and carrying of 10-60 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
Frequent overhead reaching and lifting
Majority of time spent standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Manual labor, including hand digging as needed
Some Saturday work required; Sundays are rarely needed
